Hook- Dai Riki 700 size 12-20
Thread- 6/0 UNI Olive or Brown
Weight (optional)- .010 lead or lead free
Rib- 2lb mono or tag from thread
Shell Back- Clear or Gray Scud Back- ¼”
Body- Blended sow / scud in dubbing loop**
Head- Thread

I mix my own dubbing for this fly. Use 60% dark
sowbug, 10% light sowbug, 10% Rumpf synthetic
peacock, and 20% gray squirrel ( with guard hairs).
Mix in blender to fine consistency. Form a dubbing
loop and segment fly by twisting loop tight. Trim flat
top and bottom before applying back and rib.
